Atro Remolques From Mexico dry van 53' Trailers has problems with a number of issues. manufacturer has issued specifications that are not the same as what trailer is, when delivered. Specifications indicate laminated Oak flooring. they are using Pine. Brand New Trailers flooring is cracking and breaking completely through under Forklifts when trying to load the trailer for the first time. Dealers are provided specifications from Factory . they use these to provide to customer. Them Customer Loads Tries to load trailer for the first time and problems start. When asked what the floor capacity is capable of Atro engineers say they do not know. A deposit is required to order the trailers that was initially 10% of cost of trailers 1 year ago. February $4000 to 5000.00 Remaining Balance due upon arrival to Pick up Yard in Laredo Texas. then in August increased to 10,000.00 and January$ 15000.00 which the factory would honor the price at time of delivery of deposit once deposit was received by factory. dealers have been waiting for delivery of trailers that was verbally promised to have delivered trailers. One case is dealer was promised delivery by February of 300 trailers. Now They are not honoring this and have increased the price to dealers 40 % . and selling direct to dealers customers? 41000.00 to 45000.00 Is now the Price. The deposits sent to Atro in the past 6 months in order to keep the price as was understood when deposits were sent ,is now 10 to 12000 more what was to be fully delivered in February has also Changed 16 trailers a month . If you want Trailers delivered in 30 Days you will need to pay More along with Deposit and Price increase. This Will take 2 years for Dealer of 300 orders. Unless More is Paid or 100 trailer a month is ordered with 15000.00 deposit per trailer every month for a year. This cannot be fair. and trailers manufactured, quality is poor There is more issues on the manufacturing Please let me Know what can be done.
