The contact stated that the failure had occurred on several occasions, including while making a left turn in the middle of an intersection, and once while making a left-hand turn into the driveway. Additionally, on one occasion, the failure occurred and almost caused a second vehicle to crash into the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer on several occasions, but the cause of the failure was not yet determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
