We were driving the vehicle on a vacation, and am error came on that the gear was malfunction and parking will disable vehicle. At this fine, we kept trying to clear the message to be able to view navigation, and error message kept coming back making it impossible to drive. We then parked the vehicle and had vehicle towed. Tow could not put car in neutral, and had to physically pull vehicle on to flatbed. Service advisor said water from cup holder area got into the controller.

Both the driver and passenger seatbelts have been replaced due to wear and shredding. Dealership has told us it was caused by the seatbelt extender “becoming delaminated” in both cases. This seems like a design flaw given the age and relatively low mileage (30,800). The more severe damage in the photograph is the driver’s side. The other is the passenger side that we proactively had replaced while the vehicle is still under its new vehicle warranty.

Is 6 complaints a lot? They were filed between 2024 and 2026, roughly 4 a year, which is more than the typical model in this dataset. We do not have sales figures for this model, so treat this as a rough volume, not a rate per car on the road. Popular, high-volume models naturally collect more complaints over time.
