UNABLE TO SEE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS BECAUSE THE WINDSHIELD WASHER CANNOT CLEAN THE WINDSHIELD. 2010 CHEVROLET AVEO WINDSHIELD WASHER IS USELESS AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE WASHER FLUID HITS LOW ON THE WINDSHIELD WHILE AT A STOP AND IS UNABLE TO GET PAST THE WIPERS AT LEGAL HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THIS BEGAN IMMEDIATELY UPON PURCHASE. MY CAR HAS BEEN IN THREE TIMES, AND THE PROBLEM IS UNRESOLVED. THE DEALER CHECKED FIVE OR SIX SIMILAR CARS ON THE LOT AND ALL OF THEM HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. CHANGED WASHER FLUID AND CLEANED LINES. CHANGED WASHER PUMP. DEALER DOES NOT BELIEVE REPLACING THE NOZZLES WITH NEW ONES FROM THE FACTORY WILL RESOLVE THE PROBLEM BECAUSE ALL SIMILAR VEHICLES CHECKED HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM. *JB

Is 66 complaints a lot? They were filed between 2010 and 2022, roughly 5 a year, which is fewer than the typical model in this dataset. We do not have sales figures for this model, so treat this as a rough volume, not a rate per car on the road. Popular, high-volume models naturally collect more complaints over time.

How does it compare with other years? The 2010 has 66 complaints on file, fewer than the 2011 (77). Older model years have had longer to collect complaints.
