"Steering Assist is Reduced, Drive With Care" showed up on the dashboard. The temperature gauge dropped to dead cold. Once the car was parked and cut off, the fan still kept running for 5 minutes. From my research it seems these are the signs of a thermostat being stuck open. It also seems this is a very common problem with this car, according to the internet. This vehicle has around 70K miles. There were no other issues prior to this failure.

As I accelerated after the traffic light turned green the vehicle stalled. I was able to move the vehicle to the curb on XXX [XXX] is a two-way road. The vehicle stalled while on an active road which could have led to my vehicle being rear ended causing potential injuries to myself and other drivers. The engine turned over and there was fuel in the gas tank, however, the vehicle wouldn't start. A warning light showed: "low battery", but since the engine was trying to start, it seems unlikely that the battery was low. A second warning light showed: "battery saving" mode. These lights appeared once the vehicle was parked on the curb of the road. The vehicle was towed to David Chevrolet, a GM dealership on [XXX] about 2 miles away. The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact stated that upon stopping at a red traffic light, the vehicle's auto start/stop system activated and turned the engine off. The warning message "Brake System Failure - ESC- Steering Assistance Reduced". The driver was able to pull to the shoulder of the roadway and turn the vehicle off. Upon restarting the vehicle, the vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure recurred. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by the dealer or an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was filed. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 121,000.

Control arm snapped on the I-71. Going 70 miles an hour when it happened. Definitely could have been a major accident but luckily no cars were around us when it happened. i rode over a bridge's transition and heard a big pop like a tire. Then it sounded and felt like we were riding on a rim. When we got out we saw what had happened. No warnings or anything before this happened.

Stick on After market steering wheel emblem (Chevrolet) became dislodged when air bag deployed during accident, hit my daughter in chest then richoched off then stuck into driver side door panel approximately 1/2 inch (like shrapnel) very lucky this emblem did not penetrate her body as it could have been fatal.

I have received this warning a few different times “Steering Assist is Reduced". Which causes my vehicle to not blow cold air when AC is on. Fans are louder than normal. And when I turn off my vehicle fans continue to run for roughly around 8 minutes.
