This problem isn’t just the 6.2L engine. My 22 Suburban has the 5.3L and had engine failure on the freeway going 70 mph in April 2026. Loud noises and loss of power. Towed to dealership and was confirmed that it was the same issues as the 6.2L. The dealership only replaced certain components (gears, rods, camshaft etc.) Parts replaced and vehicle returned a month later but still loss of power and bad idle. New dealership in May 2026, replaced same parts, said faulty parts were used at previous dealership. Vehicle repaired and returned in June2026, a day later new code for service transmission now code thrown and parking break not working. Returned to dealership and said it was a fuel pump module? failed. No vehicle for 3 months and lots of headaches. This recall needs to be extended to the 5.3L engine as well. Needs full replacement, not just repaired. My vehicle still doesn’t run great but Chevy will not honor anymore repairs.

Found that SOS nor OnStar buttons were not working. Dealership checked telematics control module was failing. Service bulletins were issued for wide spread failures, however no recall notices were issued. The module failure will also prevent notifications in the event of a traffic crash. Estimated repair cost $900. A true safety issue that should require a recall.

Having reviewed online your safety recall number N252536750, I am experiencing the same issue (right rear wheel occasionally locks when starting from a standstill and turning right). It only lasts about 1 or 2 seconds while accelerating. However, when I discussed this with my Chevrolet Dealer, I was told that according to the VIN for my 2022 Suburban 3.0L Diesel, I am not part of that recall. I plan to take it to the Chevrolet Dealer very soon for more analysis. However, I wanted to bring this to your attention, as it could be hazardous. I have not gotten any dash warning messages. Unmodified 2022 Chevrolet Suburban with 53K mi, driving 25 mph on paved county road. Without warning the upper ball joint on the right front side sheared off. There were no sounds, no bumps or grinding, truck is routinely maintained, cleaned and inspected - this was out of the blue. If we had been going faster it could have been a disaster. The dealer confirmed it is the upper ball joint. Significant mechanical damage has included the upper control arm and drive line (4wd). We are working with GM to get this repaired. It certainly seems like a Serious Safety issue. I have seen many reports of this problem.

“Service safety restraint system” light came on. I feel this is a defect and a serious concern. I’ve seen where others are experiencing the same issue. I bought this vehicle specifically because I wanted to a safe vehicle to drive my 4 children around in.

2022 chevy suburban diesel. Severe paint chipping and rust around windshield and top of truck. Midnight blue is the color and chevy is not covering the his defect of it destroying my truck right now complete rust and chunks of paint chipping away on the windshield it is so noticeable how bad this is chipping. And whole top of truck and front paneling show same signs everywhere of bubbling ready to chip away soon. The corrosion on truck that should not occur On a 4 year anniversary or truck from chevy a 2022! I’ve been asking for this for months as 9,500 for a paint job quote for something that it shouldn’t need to be done a paint job with rust. Chevy needs to step up and fix this. I’m a mother to 7 daughters and we need this vehicle.
