Built from NHTSA complaints and recalls collected for this model, generated September 21, 2026. Totals reflect what has been collected, not every complaint ever filed.

Recalls

0 total

Safety issues the manufacturer must repair for free. A recall means confirm the fix was done, not walk away.

No recalls on record for this model

No safety recalls were found in this dataset. It is still worth entering the exact VIN on NHTSA before purchase, since recalls can be added at any time.

Adaptive Cruise Control and/or Camera System misreads speed limit signs. 1. System misreads speed limit signs by acquiring information from State Route sign. Example: SR248, Speed Limit 55mph, SR248 marker 20, Reads it as 20mph. Example: SR2004, Speed Limit 45mph, SR2004 marker 60 and 70, reads it as 70mph. 2. System misreads Truck Speed Limit Signs as vehicle Speed Limit. The problem occurs when both Speed Limit and SR signs are in close proximity to each other. Vehicle is available. The system if engaged, has the potential to accelerate or decelerate as much as 35mph in these examples, causing potential loss of control because of rapid acceleration or deceleration. The vehicle has been at the dealer twice and they have not been able to replicate. They may not have been able to replicate because of sign placing in their area. Under these conditions, the Adaptive Cruise Control is a safety hazard. I have it disengaged and is useless.

THIS CONCERN HAS A TRACKING NUMBER FROM NHTSA #XXX. THIS 2025 FORD F 150 [VIN [XXX] ] HAD NO ISSUSES WITH A MESSAGE THAT STATES REVERSE BRAKE ASSIST NOT AVAILABLE SEE MANUAL SHOWING ON THE DASH DISPLAY UNTIL AFTER THE REQUIRED UPDATE FOR THE DASH AND THE BOSCH BRAKE MODULE WAS INSTALLED. IT HAS BEEN TO 2 DEALERS FOR THIS ISSUE MULTIPLE TIMES FROM OCT 25 - APRIL 26. THE SECOND DEALER FOUND THE SAME THING, MESSAGE APPEARS WITH NO CODES SET, THEY HAVE ALIGNED CAMERAS AND THE MESSAGE STILL COMES BACK ON. THIS BEING A BIG SAFETY ITEM TO SAVE BACKING INCEDENTS YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD FIND OUT WAT IS CAUSING THE ISSUE, BUT NO FORD TELLS THE DEALER TO TELL THE OWNER IT'S NORMAL. I DON'T BELIEVE IT IS, IT'S INSTALLED AND ADVERTISED AS A SAFETY FEATURE AND IF YOU READ UP ABOUT THIS PROBLEM THERE ARE A LOT OF THESE TRUCKS WITH THIS ISSUE AND FORD DON'T WANT TO ACKNOLEDGE THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM AND FIX IT. I WOULD HOPE YOU WOULD ENTICE FORD MOTOR COMPANY TO GET OFF THERE XXX AND TAKE CARE OF THIS. FORD CUSTOMER COMPLAINT TOLD ME THAT THEY SHOWED 1 RO ON FILE FROME THE PREVIOUS DEALER AND I HAD FOUR AS THEY HAD BILLED 4 UNDER SERVICE CONTRACT FOR MAINTAINCE NOT THE CONCERN, I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE SECOND DEALER BUT THEY HAVE TRIED UNTILL FORD SAID IT'S NORMAL. I HOPE HEAR SOMETHING BACK ON THIS. THANK YOU INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I am writing to inform you that I have received my 2025 Ford F-150 back from the Steivers Ford dealership in Union City after the reported repairs were completed. Unfortunately, the vehicle still has a severe shake and vibration while driving. In fact, the condition is now worse than it was when I originally brought the vehicle in for service. After being without my truck for an extended period while repairs were performed, I am extremely disappointed that the underlying issue has not been resolved. This ongoing defect continues to affect the drivability of the vehicle and has significantly impacted my confidence in its safety and reliability. At this point, I would like to understand what Ford’s next steps are to permanently resolve this issue. Multiple repair attempts have not corrected the problem, and I do not believe it is reasonable to continue experiencing the same—or worse—condition after such extensive repairs. Please contact me as soon as possible to discuss how Ford intends to move forward. I am looking for a prompt and lasting resolution.

Normal driving to work. Airbag light came on. Notification on Ford app about front air bag system not working correctly. Contact Ford for service. Contacted Denooyer Ford for service that was recommended. Same dealership I purchased the truck from. Service was able to schedule me within a week but recommended not driving the vehicle as it possibly didn't have working airbags. During service they corrected 2 other recalls on the vehicle and informed me that the air bag system warranty work would be 1-2 years on replacement parts. Dealer recommended not driving vehicle till proper replacement parts got installed to correct faulty air bag sensor in seat. Dealer told me that they don't have any rental vehicles in the meantime. 1-2 years of not driving a new vehicle is not acceptable.

While using the vehicle’s BlueCruise driver assistance system, the driver monitoring system generates frequent false driver-attention alerts despite normal posture and active attention to the roadway. The system often fails to recognize attentive driving unless the driver deliberately exaggerates head position or facial expression. Routine and unavoidable behaviors—including briefly touching the face, wiping the nose, or checking side-view mirrors for traffic—frequently trigger alerts, even though these actions are part of safe driving. These false positives create alert fatigue and increased cognitive load, forcing the driver to divert attention from driving to manage the monitoring system itself. The intrusiveness of the alerts becomes distracting and undermines the intended safety benefit of the system. Due to the frequency of false alerts, the driver is often compelled to disengage BlueCruise entirely. I am concerned the current driver-monitoring calibration may inadvertently increase distraction for attentive drivers and warrants review. This issue has been reported to the manufacturer and logged under Ford Product case number [XXX]. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Is 102 complaints a lot? They were filed between 2025 and 2026, roughly 72 a year, which is more than the typical model in this dataset. We do not have sales figures for this model, so treat this as a rough volume, not a rate per car on the road. Popular, high-volume models naturally collect more complaints over time.
