The contact owns a 2025 Gulfstream Kingsport RV. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, the contact engaged the turn signal to change lanes; however, the driver behind the RV flashed the high beam headlights, pulled up next to the RV, informed the contact that the turn signal light was flashing and operating opposite to what was intended. The RV was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the taillights wiring had been wired incorrectly. The RV was repaired. The contact had been alerted by an email report for a recall on the 2026 RV models but not the model or year the contact owns. The contact was made aware of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V010000 (Exterior Lighting) online; however, the VIN and model year were not included. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 900.
