The contact owns a 2025 Honda Civic Type R. The contact stated that while driving approximately 70 MPH and slowing down for a red light, the vehicle failed to accelerate while the accelerator pedal was depressed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a CV axle failure which also caused excessive wear to the disc brakes. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 19,000.

I’ve been having some strange steering issues with my car. It feels like I’m driving something with a bent frame, especially when I go over 40 mph. The front driver’s side wheel pulls to one side, and sometimes it feels like the rug is being pulled out from under me. It really freaks me out. I haven’t been able to get a clear answer from any dealers yet, even after taking it to two different places, and they’re still checking it out. It's kind of funny because I had the same issue with my old Civic Sport, and they never figured it out back then either. No warning lights or anything have come up, but I can really feel the steering acting weird, especially when it’s cold, and that pulling sensation has just gotten worse over time.
