My 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid experienced a severe total electrical failure that required a complete battery replacement. This massive electrical surge permanently damaged and corrupted the vehicle's infotainment head unit hardware. Ever since this power surge, the vehicle suffers from continuous, dangerous electronic malfunctions. Specifically, the Apple CarPlay and complete audio system intermittently freeze, crash, and shut down completely while operating the vehicle at highway speeds. This instantly cuts off all live GPS navigation, map access, and critical audible and visual vehicle notifications. Even more dangerously, this hardware corruption has caused multiple false activations of the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), where the vehicle abruptly triggers sudden automatic emergency braking alerts with no obstacles present, creating an imminent risk of a high-speed rear-end collision. Apple Authorized Service Providers have run full hardware diagnostics on my personal smartphone and issued official certificates proving the device has 100% zero defects. Honda Corporate has also explicitly admitted in writing via official chat and email logs that the CarPlay system defect exists on their vehicle's side, yet they claim it is not covered under warranty. Multiple dealerships have actively engaged in constructive refusal to repair. Technicians continuously deflect the blame to my smartphone on paperwork to avoid opening a formal warranty Repair Order, even after I performed complete factory resets on both the vehicle and the device. Under Corporate orders to meet a Service Manager at a different dealership, I scheduled a manager appointment for 11:15 AM. However, the manager intentionally hid and fled the building to evade the scheduled inspection, leaving a severely defective and structurally unsafe vehicle on public roads.

On August 20, 2026 at approximately 3:45 pm the vehicle slammed on it's brakes unexpectedly with the ACC active. The ACC was set to 45mph as per the speed limit and was traveling at that speed until the brakes suddenly engaged and abruptly reduced the speed to 20mph. It was sunny, 91 degrees there were no cars, obstructions or shadows and the vehicle had been washed and clean 2 days before.

Vehicle: 2024 Honda CR-V I am reporting a longstanding steering safety concern that existed well before my recent accident. I first reported steering problems to an authorized Honda dealership when my vehicle had approximately 1,155 miles. I reported difficulty with the steering wheel returning to center and the steering grabbing to one side. I subsequently returned to Honda multiple times for steering-related concerns. At approximately 2,121 miles I reported the vehicle pulling left or right on the highway. At approximately 4,910 miles I again reported pulling and a sensation that the steering wheel was pulling by itself. At approximately 5,693 miles I reported that the vehicle would move to the right at highway speed and required constant steering correction. At approximately 15,754 miles, I reported that the steering felt very tight and that two hands were necessary because of the high steering effort. At approximately 25,468 miles, after I reported that the steering was sticking, the steering gearbox/power-steering rack was replaced. I subsequently continued experiencing steering-related issues and returned for additional service. Most recently, at approximately 34,603 miles, I again reported tight steering, pulling to the right and shaking at highway speeds. On September 04, 2026, at approximately 38000 miles, while driving in wet conditions, I was involved in a loss-of-control/hydroplaning accident. During the event I was driving in traffic and following other vehicles, I was maintaining control of my vehicle with both hands on the steering wheel. During the incident, I suddenly noticed that the vehicle began pulling or steering sharply to the right, despite my efforts to maintain the vehicle's direction. As I attempted to correct the vehicle's direction and steer to the left, I experienced significant resistance in the steering, and the steering became unusually difficult to turn to the left. I was unable to regain proper directional control of

I placed a bid on a vehicle at the co-part location in [XXX] . I reviewed the damage etc. and found it to be an acceptable risk. It was advertised that the car was in an accident with the passenger side and front grill damage. here was allegedly no damage to the motor and most importantly the airbags had not deployed. It was being sold with a salvaged title. Knowing these issues, I purchased the vehicle, had it towed to Miami and began the repairs. I purchased all genuine Honda parts from the dealer and still I could not have all of the lights reset. Upon taking it to another dealership, I learned that my rear seatbelts needed to be replaced, as well as all of the airbags as they had been cut out of the vehicle and the areas where they were located have been closed using drywall screws, some of which are still there. The described condition of the vehicle directly influenced my decision to purchase this vehicle. The lack of airbags could not be discovered from an inspection. I spent over 27,000 to purchase and repair this car as I believed that it was a newer car with much longevity. I was misled by the offer from Copart, and the actions of this company amount to deceptive business practices and possibly even fraud in the inducement. The description of the vehicle and its condition, specifically that the airbags were not deployed, led me to believe that the car was as described. Copart either knew or should have known based on the information provided from the lien holder/insurance that either the airbags had all deployed, and those would have been shown in the photos or that they were still in the car and somehow went "missing" while in the custody of copart. Copart knew this and yet they continued to advertise the airbags as intact. Copart knew that the condition of the car was worse than advertised and that the "as is" terms do not shield copart from the liability of this misrepresentation as this was apparently intentional or reckless. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Wiper system malfunctions by allowing driver side wiper to intermittently reach varied end positions, sometimes striking the A-pillar. Vehicle is available for inspection upon request (has been inspected by dealer already). How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? While driving in heavy rain, wiper erratically slamming into A-pillar is distracting and has caused me to try to adjust wiper speed and settings to prevent wiper arm from potentially breaking, which could be dangerous in certain higher speed conditions in heavy rain/low visibility. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes, dealer was able to observe/reproduce the highly variable end position of the drivers side wiper. Dealer notes wiper shows up to 6 inch variance in where it stops. They could also see by the wiper marks on the windshield the variation in the end position. However, they compared the wiper function to another CRV and said it seems normal and refused warranty repair because the wiper was not broken or misadjusted at this time. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No warning lamps or messages. Symptom is recurring since purchase of the vehicle. However, the wiper only demonstrates the ability to strike the A-pillar during heavier rain and use of wipers for longer periods (which has not happened frequently during time I've owned/driven vehicle).
