The engine mounts on this vehicle failed. Dealership and many others online have stated that this seems to be a reoccurring issue with the 2021-2023 generation of Hyundai elantras. The vibrations of these failed motor mounts become so severe that they can dislodge the brakes making it very unsafe to drive. Hyundai should be doing a recall for this to avoid safety issues for their customers

Voice activated calling no longer works without Hyundai's Bluelink subscription. Each time I say a command to "Call John Doe," the response is always, "Sorry, I don't understand. Please upgrade to Bluelink cloud assisted voice calling." This is a basic safety feature that should not be behind a paywall.

The contact owns a 2023 Hyundai Elantra. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, several unknown warning lights flashed on and off on the instrument panel, and the brakes independently activated due to slippery weather conditions. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure was not determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 16,900.

While driving on [XXX] north near exit [XXX] in rain, at 70 mph Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assistance were on. The vehicle displayed a warning that the smart systems were disabled. The vehicle then began jerking and changing lanes and speed unexpectedly. The steering wheel pulled/jerked forcefully to the left and right and I had difficulty maintaining control of the vehicle. When I attempted to brake, the brake pedal became very hard and could not press down the vehicle did not slow normally. I was able to get the vehicle onto the shoulder and shut it off. After restarting the vehicle, the problem occurred again. The vehicle was towed to Wallace Hyundai dealership in Stewart Florida and is currently being diagnosed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who replaced the clock spring on two separate occasions, but the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 44,000.

The contact owned a 2023 Hyundai Elantra. The contact stated that while driving at 35 MPH, another vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign; as a result, the contact's vehicle was struck by the driver's side door, sending the vehicle careening 50 feet before coming to a complete stop. Only the steering wheel air bag was deployed. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard and deemed a total loss by the contact's insurance provider. A police report was filed, with injuries reported. The contact was transported to an area hospital by EMS and treated for a concussion and non-descript injuries to her shoulders and back. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 31,000.

The paint is peeling off of my hood and on the sides of my car I have noticed other Hyundais with the same problem I tried to go through warranty and Hyundai wouldn't help me I've noticed in the past that they have had recalls on their vehicles for paint and I believe that this needs to be a recall also
