I was driving on Hwy 41 in Lutz, Fl in middle lane (out of 3 lanes) at around 50 miles per hour, then suddenly a warning came up on my infotainment consule that noted that my driver assistance system was not functional. My car then slowed down to 20 mph and would not accelerate. The line of cars going fast behind me started to honk at me. I had to put on my hazards and slowly get into far right lane and eventually pull over. I then came to a stop and turned my engine off. I was able to get back on US Hwy 41 and the error did not happen again and I was able to get to work (albeit, 5 minutes late)

On 9/13/26, while driving, all the instrument warning lights came on and stayed on after the car was shut off and back on a few times. Running diagnostics on the car showed everything was working ok. On 9/14/26, The warning lights were off in the morning. On 9/15 while driving, making a left turn, the instrument panel went completely blank, with the exception of the radio part of the screen. My turn signal, speed, fuel, blind spot indicator, etc. nothing showed up. Video is available of the incident.

After denying that this problem existed, Hyundai issued a software update to "fix" the AEB issue. I had the software update done at Riverhead Hyundai on 7/20/26. On 7/27 and 7/28, the AEB system activated and stopped my vehicle. On 8/4, the system began to activate, but ended the activation before a complete stop. There was no issue with traffic from any direction on all 3 occasions. I contacted Hyundai, but they again stated that their technicians could not duplicate the issue. This was what they told me before the recall was announced or performed, and no Hyundai technician had possession of the vehicle to do a test after these most recent incidents.

All four factory Nexen tires on my brand new 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid have shown rapid and uneven wear between 5,000 and 11,000 miles. The vehicle feels unstable, with alignment-like behavior. A Nexen preferred dealer suggested a possible tire defect. Hyundai Consumer Affairs and the dealership have not coordinated a proper warranty inspection, and I was asked to pay 189.99 for diagnosis even though the issue was documented early under warranty. I am concerned this may be a safety-related defect affecting other vehicles.(my 1st request to Hyundai since march 2026 all emails and conversations documented)

Sunroof exploded on the freeway while i was driving I heard a very loud bang and thought it must be the car next to me. When I arrived home later- saw the hole in my roof.Next morning I took my car to the delearship and after assessment they agreed the sunroof exploded. They told me the car was not safe to drive and gave me a loaner. I have tried to upload images but they are too large for your portal.

The car detects phantom blind spot alerts even after the camera update. It happens based on front and rear cameras. When the car falsely alerts it fully locks up the breaks and steering until the fault clears. It happened yesterday trying to pull out of a street side parking space. There were no oncoming cars, but the car fully alerted and locked up. It happened in rush hour traffic when trying to pull to the side for an emergency vehicle alerting and causing the car to fully lock up and delay moving aside for an emergency vehicle, and it happened trying to pull into a parking lot in a line of other vehicles also pulling into the lot (school pickup line). Every time it does this it fully alerts and locks up brakes and steering. There's no predicting when it will happen.
