TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 ITASCA REYO 25Q RV. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY DECELERATED TO 45 MPH AND ENTERED INTO LIMP MODE. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ALSO ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DURING THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS SAFELY MANEUVERED TO THE SHOULDER AND SHUT OFF. THE FAILURE CONTINUED UPON RESTART. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN CAUTIOUSLY DRIVEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT AN EGR VALVE FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,800.
