The ramp door of this RV has a common problem with the door rotting at the hinges. These doors are used to load 1000lbs per axle into a toy hauler camper. Over several years, the structural wood inside the door rots without warning to the owner. I caught it just before it failed and did a web search to discover that this is a very common problem where people don't discover that there is an issue until they are driving an off-road vehicle onto this loading ramp. I am a licensed mechanical engineer and have evaluated that the door was never sealed and it allowed rain water to enter the inside of the door which houses the structural wood. The wood is left to rot since there are no weap holes, and the owner has no way of knowing water is even in there. Failure of this door can cause serious injury. Similar models have been recalled for this same issue and Keystone should be forced to recall this door before more people are hurt. I am happy to show mine for an inspection.
