THERE WAS A SAFETY RECALL ON THE DEADBOLT LOCK CYLINDER. I WENT ON LINE AND FILLED OUT THE FORM TO GET THE REPLACEMENT. IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE DELIVERED IN 10-12 BUSINESS DAYS. WHEN IT DID NOT ARRIVE, I CALLED FASTEC INDUSTRIAL. THEY SAID THEY WERE EXPERIENCING EXTREMELY HIGH VOLUMES OF REQUESTS DUE TO THE RECALL, SO IT WAS TAKING LONGER THAN NORMAL. I WAITING A FEW MONTHS AND CALLED BACK. THEY SAID THEY WERE JUST GETTING TO THE FEBRUARY REQUESTS (WHICH WOULD BE MINE). SO I AM STILL CONTINUING TO WAIT. NOW IT HAS BEEN A LITTLE OVER 7 MONTHS! I AM TIRED OF WAITING. I THINK THAT IS A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF TIME. *TR

Is 2 complaints a lot? They were filed between 2011 and 2014, roughly 1 a year, which is fewer than the typical model in this dataset. We do not have sales figures for this model, so treat this as a rough volume, not a rate per car on the road. Popular, high-volume models naturally collect more complaints over time.
