The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with a low-voltage battery. The battery was replaced. After the battery was replaced, there was battery acid leaking from the battery. The battery was replaced a second and a third time; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 34,000.
