The contact stated that on several occasions while driving up hills, mostly at approximately 30 MPH, the vehicle jerked and lost power. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The contact stated that on other occasions when gas was added to the vehicle and the vehicle began driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer where the failure could not be replicated. The contact added that on several occasions while parked, the vehicle did not start. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer after being notified of the recall associated with the vehicle to have the recall repaired, but the dealer stated that they did not have the right tools to make the repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

WHEN I'M DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE OR REALLY ANYWHERE MY POWER STEERING WILL GO OUT, I'VE HAD IT LOOKED A MANY OF TIMES AND PEOPLE SAY IT'S THE BATTERY BEING LOW AND IT SHOULDN'T DO IT A LOT I'VE HAD THE BATTERY REPLACED AND IT STILL DOES IT, I'M NOT PAYING FOR THE WHOLE REWIRING OF MY CAR BECAUSE I DID NOT KNOW IT WAS LIKE THIS WHEN I BOUGHT IT, LITERALLY 2 DAYS AFTER I BOUGHT IT IT STARTED ACTING UP

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2011 NISSAN JUKE. WHILE DRIVING 7 MPH, THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED INADVERTENTLY AND CAUSED THE CONTACT TO CRASH INTO A LIGHT POLE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE NECK AND A CONCUSSION THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A SALVAGE YARD AND DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THEY WOULD CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 81,000. *JS

WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH, THE SUNROOF EXPLODED. IT SOUNDED LIKE A GUN SHOT AND GLASS FLEW EVERYWHERE INSIDE AND OUT OF CAR. NO ROAD HAZARD OR DEBRIS NOTED TO CAUSE ANY DAMAGE. NO WEATHER ISSUES PRESENT. IT WAS A CLEAR DAY APPROXIMATELY 78 DEGREES F. THE SUNROOF WAS CLOSED AT TIME OF INCIDENT. IT WAS EXTREMELY TERRIFYING AND CAUSED CONFUSION WHILE TRAVELLING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED. THIS WAS A 4 LANE HIGHWAY WITH TWO LANES OF TRAFFIC EACH WAY WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN IMPACTED WOULD I HAVE SWERVED OR OTHERWISE REACTED TO THE SOUND OR RAINING GLASS SHARDS. VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
