Car Defect Radar
Built from NHTSA complaints and recalls collected for this model, generated September 22, 2026. Totals reflect what has been collected, not every complaint ever filed.

Recalls

0 total

Safety issues the manufacturer must repair for free. A recall means confirm the fix was done, not walk away.

No recalls on record for this model

No safety recalls were found in this dataset. It is still worth entering the exact VIN on NHTSA before purchase, since recalls can be added at any time.

While riding my 2024 Royal Enfield INT650 with only 200.7 miles on it the rear hydraulic brakes suffered sudden catastrophic failure with no warning. the brake pedal went completely soft and fell to the floor causing a total loss of rear stopping power and creating an immediate collision hazarded. the bike was towed to an authorized dealer which confirmed the brake fluid was boiled but blamed user error (riding the pedal) which is extremely false. This is a known systemic design defect on this motorcycle platform. The actual mechanical cause is a misadjusted factory pushrod blocking the master cylinder return port, binding the caliper sliding pins, or faulty ABS modulator valve. Any of these factory defects cause the brakes to drag automatically, self-pressurize, overheat, and boil the fluid without rider input. Simply flushing the fluid ignores the mechanical defect and leaves the vehicle unsafe.

Is 1 complaints a lot? They were filed between 2026 and 2026, roughly 1 a year, which is fewer than the typical model in this dataset. We do not have sales figures for this model, so treat this as a rough volume, not a rate per car on the road. Popular, high-volume models naturally collect more complaints over time.
