THE SEATBELT LATCHPLATE (TONGUE) AND SOME SEATBELT WEBBING ON ALL 6 SEATS RIDES IN THE ABDOMEN OF MANY ADULT OCCUPANTS. THIS MAY BE BECAUSE THE OVERALL LENGTH OF THE (FEMALE) BUCKLE STALK IS 15.5 INCHES. IN THE CASE OF A 5'11" TALL MALE WEIGHING 174 POUNDS, THE SEATBELT LATCHPLATE RIDES 3 INCHES FROM THE FRONT VERTICAL CENTERLINE, WITH THE TOP OF THE LATCHPLATE 4 INCHES ABOVE THE THIGH, ALMOST AT THE LOWER RIB MARGIN.
