The contact owns a 2023 Yamaha GQX125 Scooter. The contact had received a notification of a recall from the manufacturer regarding the front brake caliper; however, the part to do the recall repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and informed the contact that because the residence was in Key West, the part could not be sent. The contact was informed that the scooter needed to be sent to a different Yamaha dealer and that the contact needed to pay for the delivery. The contact had not experienced a failure.

Is 3 complaints a lot? They were filed between 2025 and 2025, roughly 3 a year, which is more than the typical model in this dataset. We do not have sales figures for this model, so treat this as a rough volume, not a rate per car on the road. Popular, high-volume models naturally collect more complaints over time.
