I received a letter several months ago for: Manufacturer Recall Number25C41 NHTSA Recall Number25V541 I called the Ford dealership to schedule the recall repair and they told me parts were not available. I explained to them I had a recall letter stating parts were now available and to schedule the repair. The dealer said they had the parts on order and they have not received any yet. I asked them if I could get put on their schedule for when parts came in and they agreed. They said they would call me as soon as they had parts to make the repair. Meanwhile, I received another recall letting from Ford saying parts are available, please schedule the repairs. I have been calling Ford recall hotline and the Ford dealership for over two months trying to get the safety recall repairs completed. They will not fix my compromised airbags and I am not getting any support from Ford to get this resolved.

This 2024 Ford Ranger Pickup is part of recall # 26V238. The vehicle has been at the dealer since 6/20/2026. Today is 8/30/2026. There have been several dates given for the release of the fix for this recall and all have come and gone. Ford does not seem to be acting in a timely manner to correct this issue. Since i purchased the vehicle used, I do not qualify for a buy back nor does it fall under lemon laws. Ford has provided a loaner vehicle but it is a compact SUV not the truck that I need for my daily needs. PLEASE do what you can to get Ford to correct this issue soon. Thank you

Is 79 complaints a lot? They were filed between 2024 and 2026, roughly 40 a year, which is more than the typical model in this dataset. We do not have sales figures for this model, so treat this as a rough volume, not a rate per car on the road. Popular, high-volume models naturally collect more complaints over time.

How does it compare with other years? The 2024 has 79 complaints on file, more than the 2023 (18) and more than the 2025 (39). Of the 9 model years of the Ford Ranger we cover, the 2019 has the most (266). Older model years have had longer to collect complaints.
