WE OWN A 2010 YUKON AND HAVE A CRACKED DASH BOARD, THIS LOOKS TO BE THE RESULT OF POOR DESIGN AND CHEEP PLASTIC. I SEE THAT 1000 OF OTHER GM/CHEVY OWNERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUE. FROM WHAT I CAN SEE THE DEALERSHIP WOULD LOVE TO FIX THIS AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE $2,000. YOU WOULD THINK THAT AFTER YOU PAY CLOSE TO $50,000 THAT GM WOULD CONSIDER THIS AN IMPORTANT CUSTOMER RELATION ISSUE. ALSO NOT TO MENTION THE SAFETY HAZARD THIS POSES.

Is 28 complaints a lot? They were filed between 2013 and 2025, roughly 2 a year, which is fewer than the typical model in this dataset. We do not have sales figures for this model, so treat this as a rough volume, not a rate per car on the road. Popular, high-volume models naturally collect more complaints over time.

How does it compare with other years? The 2010 has 28 complaints on file, fewer than the 2011 (47). Of the 17 model years of the GMC Yukon XL we cover, the 2015 has the most (306). Older model years have had longer to collect complaints.
