The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while driving 65 MPH and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle vibrated, jerked, and made abnormal whining and metallic sounds. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact pulled over to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to a Toyota dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the failure was associated with NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V148000 (Power Train). The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was then taken to Starling GMC Titusville(1350 S Washington Ave, Titusville, FL 32780), where it was diagnosed. The dealer determined that the engine and the drive belt needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.

The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that the passenger’s side daytime running light bulb was blown. The contact called two dealers and an independent mechanic and was informed that the passenger’s side headlight module had to be replaced to repair the failure. The contact stated that the cost of repair was too expensive for a single light bulb. Due to the failure, the contact stated that nighttime driving visibility was limited. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000.

The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the wheels locked up and the vehicle was uncontrollable. The contact stated several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact's vehicle crashed into a guardrail. In addition, the front passenger's side and rear passenger's side tires fractured and detached. The contact's vehicle incurred damage to the front suspension, calipers, front bumper, and the passenger's front and rear tires. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic; however, the failure was not duplicated. The contact was informed that there was no indication of what caused the wheels to lock up. The vehicle was in the process of being repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The contact referenced an unknown recall repair which had a similar failure description; however, the contact was informed that the contact's VIN was not associated with the recall. The manufacturer investigator inspected the vehicle; however there was no indication of what caused the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 47,000.

The vehicle twisted and the wheels locked. The vehicle crashed into a concrete curb. The contact stated that the vehicle incurred damage to the front passenger's door, and the front passenger's door panel was detached. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the failure was due to an unrepaired recall. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle had an electrical system failure, and the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle had been taken to the dealer multiple times; however, the repair was unrepaired. The contact stated initially that there were three unrepaired recalls; however, two were repaired. The contact stated that the recall NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V148000 (Power Train) was not performed. The contact was informed that the manufacturer needed to approve the claim. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle was still at the dealer and had been there for four months. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. In addition, the contact was informed that the dealer was to perform the recall repair. The failure mileage was approximately 56,000.

The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that after opening the convertible top, the sliding door used to secure the convertible top into the rear of the vehicle malfunctioned and failed to automatically close. While attempting to manually close the door on the convertible top, the contact almost injured a finger. The contact was concerned that while driving with the convertible top opened that the sliding door might malfunction and cause the convertible top to become unsecured. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed and determined that the convertible top sliding door was faulty and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 50,000.
